Who is Peacock Collection?
Just one person, Claudia Bibber, who is a lover of all things related to fabric, linen, handwork, and sewing. I've been known to purchase a once beautiful piece, time worn and loved, just to save it from extinction.
I've been buying, selling, and trading fine linens, lace, ribbons and sewing accessories since 2000. Over and over my customers would ask if I had any buttons, so in the last few years I have acquired antique, vintage, and collectable buttons. I recently gave up my "actual" antique shop so I can split my time between the East and West Coasts. I do shows on both coasts and in between. I have discovered the world of button collecting and button societies and am available to participate in state and local shows as a vendor. I also send buttons on approval to local button clubs.
I specialize in linens crafted from natural fibers--linen, silk, cotton--and in the unusual and unique. My buttons run the gamut from glass to celluloid and from Victorian to Vintage.
